The Military records of George Walker Bush.

FOIA requests for Saxby Chambliss's Military records are presumably in the works.

While Time Magazine recognizes the much maligned whistleblowers, George W. quietly squashes internal dissent by disemboweling the Environmental Protection Agency's Ombudsman office.

If you're wondering what the oilman in the Bush White House have against the EPA Ombudsman, here's a clue. Here's another. And one more.

Since Bill Frist's elevation to majority leader, left-wing bloggers have pointed out several of his racially insensitive comments.

While these comments are revealing, there is likely to be no real scandal there.

Frist's problem is a more fundamental one, and one that has long bedeviled Republicans, especially the rich fundraising types. To find it, remember Deep Throat's dictum: follow the money.

UPDATE: I know, I know -- Deep Throat never actually said "follow the money." It was added to "All the President's Men" for dramatic purposes.

It's still a good line, though.

Oh, and by the way, George W. is packing the FDA with right-wing ideologues.

More evidence of the so-called liberal media, uncovered in plain sight by Liberal Oasis.

No comment whatsoever in Time, CNN, the Washington Post, or anywhere else. Needless to say, Bill Clinton never enjoyed such gentle treatment.

So, for those who haven't gotten it yet:

BUSH IS WAY, WAY DOWN IN THE POLLS !!!!! WAY WAY DOWN !!!! HE IS DROPPING LIKE A STONE MON !!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell your friends. The media won't.

The head of Israeli military intelligence (no Dove he!) says that Iraq won't attack unless it's attacked first.

Pontificator just received an awesome Christmas card.

The scene is the Mall, in front of the Washington monument, with two men with axes chopping down the "National Christmas Tree."

In front of that scene is George W. Bush, the "doofus" of the "United States of America" (so says the card).

Above Prezzy Bush is a "word balloon" which says:

"I was alarmified to learn that trees are a major cause of forest fires. . . so today I've invited some friends to help launch the WAR ON TREES. . .

On the inside flap, it says: "may your holiday season be bright (even if your president isn't)"

Happy Holidays!
